Got my flu shot today so I didn't go to the gym. Instead: Taco Tuesday :-). Hehe, bad I know, but it was a much needed girls night for me and Patricia.

Gym

Nothing exciting. Although I really didn't want to go to the gym tonight. I forced myself... felt good after. Jennifer made these awesome cookies and I know I'm not supposed to eat them, but they were so good. Yay, I felt like shit after. Haha! That's what I get.

pissed off work out

I didn't sleep last night and had a shitty ass day, so I was pissed when I went to the gym. But I think that worked out for the best....

bike 20 min - 90+ rpm - HR 165-180
bike 5 min - cool down (55-70 rpm) = 5.8 miles total

upside - down ab workout

3x

10 each side - side crunches w/ 8 lb weights
10 each side - side kick crunches
10 each side - pike crunches

10 each arm - 8 lb weights in each arm - bicep curl all the way up to full extension

Shouldn't have had coffee today... acid reflux kept me from doing more :-( and now I feel like shit

yoga

Took a yoga class with Scott and Steven... it was fun but totally kicked my ass. I was feeling pretty good right after.... sore as hell the next morning. I would totally do it again though :-)

Turkey Trot

So Happy!! Amy and I both ran the entire 5k race! We did stop to go to the bathroom, but it was at the water break anyway :-P. I even had enough energy to sprint to the finish.... and then come to a screeching hault with all the people just hanging out at the finish. I also did not accidently grab anyone innappropriately this year :-)

5K run - 41:21 (including stopping to go to the bathroom and stopping to stretch)

Finally went to the 24 HR Fitness by my house. It's smaller than the Campbell one (or just set up wierd) but it wasn't a total meat market. I think all the people that are just there to get ass went to the new 24 super sport.

left work early so I could get in a run before it got dark. but, I forgot to use my inhaler before I ran and it was really fucking cold, so my lungs died! Didn't run the entire time, but most of it.

Let's try this again...

I've worked out since I last posted... just not much. So I'm gonna try this again....

I ran last night, pretty much the first time in 2 yrs I've been running. My ankle and knee seem to be holding up pretty good. Didn't run much. Just trying to get back into it. I ran around my neighborhood. I forgot to measure the distance (I'll do that tonight). I think it was about a mile and I did it in about 10 min. Not great, but considering, not bad. Definitely feeling it today :-P

baby workout....

so some might not actually call this a work out. but if they ever did it they would think different.
I followed around a 10 month old for the past few days. carrying her, chasing her, bouncing her, crawling after her.....you get the idea.

my shoulder still hurts and makes weird noises. as of last monday the doc said i could start using it normally again. my follow up is July 21...hopefully my rotator cuff isn't any worse.
